Danielle and Dave are such a fun and laid back couple to work with. They planned their Bluemont Vineyard wedding day for that perfect mid-November weather, with Fall colors still to be had. And it hasn’t always been easy! In fact, Danielle broke some ribs in a polo accident the week of the wedding! But pain relievers and all, she still had a wonderful wedding day at this gorgeous Fauquier county wedding venue.
One of the details I loved about their wedding day was Danielle’s dress and those flowing sleeves! They were such a stunning feature. And detachable as well! The way they blew in the breeze and danced around was ethereal.
And her bouquet from Rick’s Flowers was a perfect palette for the end of Fall and the beginning of winter.
When it came time for Danielle and Dave’s first look, it was evident that Dave loved the dress too and was more than happy to see his beautiful bride for the first time that day!
After their first look, they posed in the wind for some gorgeous couples’ portraits with Bluemont’s rolling hills and vines around them.
The colors were perfect and the wind was workable too!
These two looked amazing together amongst the last bits of Fall at Bluemont!
We ended up at the ceremony site and with the view over the county behind them.
We then photographed Dave and Danielle with their guys and gals.
And then the entire wedding party together.
It was then time for the ceremony. As the sun was about to go down, Danielle and Dave prepared to say “I do” in front of family and friends.
Everything was lovely and Danielle looked like a princess as she walked down the aisle.
They sealed it with a kiss and received a proper military send off!
They enjoyed cocktail hour while the reception space had it’s final preparations in place.
We also took advantage of golden hour lighting and the breeze.
Then it was time for their grand entrance into the reception. They began the evening with their first dance!
The indoor cafe lighting and the excited crowd made for a fantastic start to the evening.
It was a joy to hear their friends toast to the happy couple!
And people began to dance the night away, including a dance between Danielle and her dad.
Danielle and Dave also stepped out with me for a few images in front of the lighted gazebo.
And at the end of the evening, they made their way outside through a very active crowd for a sparkler exit!
What an exit! And this was my last shot of the 2021 wedding season as well, below. I thought it was a great way to end the wedding season!
Congratulations Danielle and Dave! It was such a sweet day and what an honor it has been to serve the, If you haven’t yet checked out their love story and Good Stone Inn engagement session, definitely do so!
