The manor boasts four charming bedrooms, ceremony space in front of the manor or on the rooftop, a white and bright ballroom, as well as a permanent tent pad in the back of the manor.

I will record your preparations in the bridal suite and groom's cabin as well as capture images of you dancing for the first time as husband and wife in the ballroom. The Grounds

The grounds at Rixey Manor are extensive...the sun sets behind the house, which makes for a lovely golden hour and the front overlooks the incredible view with a far off pond. The tree swing and new butterfly garden create gorgeous backdrops for portraits.

The house boasts several suites inside from the golden bridal suite to the blue room. Each room is a wonderful place for the ladies to prepare and enjoy opening those surprise gifts from the groom. The groom's cottage is also a fantastic spot for the men to get ready for their big day!

The Ballroom

The Ballroom is a beautiful addition to the manor. You can host up to 125 guests for the reception (or go over 200 if you use the tent pad behind the ballroom). Guests will enjoy celebrating with you as you dance the night away in this white and dreamy elegant ballroom.

Absolutely! You can reserve the property for more than just the day of your wedding. So you can take advantage of all the rooms for your bridal party. Where do you recommend taking our family portraits?

My favorite locations for family portraits are in  front of the house, behind the house and on the side garden/lawn. However, I'm open for other locations so long as the lighting scenario is complimentary. View a wedding with multiple family portrait locations HERE.

What time should we schedule our ceremony to begin?

I work very closely with you and your wedding planner to ensure that you start your ceremony with enough time for the images prior as well as time for golden hour portraits and a steady reception start time. What if it rains on my wedding day?

No one wants rain on their wedding day! But if it does rain, your day will still be perfect and your images will be stunning! I have photographed on rainy days at Rixey Manor and I know all the choice locations as well as plan B, C, D and E! Your day will still be as lovely as ever. Should a bride consider bridal portraits at Rixey Manor?

A thousand times YES! A bridal portrait session provides the opportunity for a bride to prepare for her Big Day with a private session devoted just to her. Bridal portraits do not always happen at golden hour on the wedding day, so a session months prior to the big day provides those gorgeous images in the prettiest light of the day.
