It takes two to tie the knot so I don’t plan on leaving the grooms out for my January recap blogs of 2019. This Virginia Wedding Photographer believes in celebrating both the brides and the grooms. So here are the dapper gentlemen of 2019…

K at Walden Hall

OK, so Alyxe didn’t marry herself on this fine April day at Walden Hall. Believe it or not, there was a military man hidden behind the jacket. The problem is that I just can’t share his face or name. So just trust me, he and Alyxe make the perfect pair!

Ramzi at Walden Hall

Ramzi rocked the lavender tie and white rose on his Spring wedding day at Walden Hall. He couldn’t be happier to see his beautiful bride, Sarah and his wide smile revealed it all!

Eric at Mountain Run Winery

Eric and Lauren have a long and lovely romance and Eric was more than proud of her. He traded his fire gear for a classic grey suit and a tie with personality and said “I do” to the woman of his dreams.

Avery at The Riverview at Occoquan

Avery donned this incredible floral tie and navy suit, perfect for his riverside wedding at The Riverview at Occoquan. His vows were tear jerkers and it was evident that he thinks the world of his lovely Jenn!

Justin at Rixey Manor

Oh how I love a military wedding! Justin donned his uniform for his wedding celebration at Rixey Manor. It came after months of planning from afar. He and Lauren celebrated on the most perfect summer’s day amongst family and friends!

Robert at Rixey Manor

Robert and Emily also planned a military wedding from afar at Rixey Manor. What fun it was to have two military weddings back to back here! And although their day was HOT, Robert was the perfect gentleman in uniform as he wed the woman of his dreams.

Tom at Airlie

Tom and Kristi met online as two poets who fell in love. He couldn’t stop telling me how he was amazed that he had the honor of marrying Kristi. Their romance was sweet and full of friendship and love as they tied the knot at Airlie.

Tyler at the Marriott Ranch

Tyler and Rachelle are Fauquier county sweethearts. They built a home in one of the prettiest parts of the county and so it was fitting that they tied the knot at Marriott Ranch with a view of the mountains. Tyler’s floral tie and blue suit were the perfect compliments to his southern style!

Mike at the Great Marsh Estate

Brittany describes Mike as the relaxed, outgoing jokester of the two of them. And seeing Mike’s sweet smile at the site of his beloved was truly revealing of his deep feelings for her. They tied the knot at Great Marsh on a warm and bright day in September complete with adoring friends and family.

Chris at Fleetwood Farm Winery

“It’s always been Chris and Annie.” That was the sentiment echoed throughout the day as these two childhood friends said “I do” at Fleetwood Farm Winery. Annie and Chris are a perfect match and their classic style was perfectly reflected in Chris’ black and white tux ensemble.

Adam at Capitol View at 400

Mo and Adam celebrated with the most incredible views at the Capitol view at 400. Adam was one of those rare grooms who planned a change in attire and traded in his tux for a new look during the reception! And his vows to Mo were truly a tear jerker!

Brendan at King Family Winery

Brendan and Kati had to plan their wedding in Virginia from afar in NYC. But they did a fabulous job and Brendan donned a classic tux for his Holy Comforter wedding and King Family Vineyards reception. Affectionately know as Rizz and Murph, these two always seemed to move in sync and their passion for each other was unforgettable!

Jason at Rosemont

Jamie and Jason shared an excited first look at the historic Rosemont Barn and Manor. Jason was so happy to see his beautiful bride and he did so in style in his classic tux along with these lush florals and color popping pocket square!

Andrew at the Great Marsh Estate

Andrew’s winter style is the perfect blend for a winter’s wedding at the Great Marsh Estate. His wine colored velvet tie and warm grey suit was the perfect combination in which to say “I do.” He and Catie were married in an historic church with a reception at the Great Marsh Estate. But one of my favorite moments was when they exchanged personal vows after their first look!
