From my first meeting with Jenn to the Goodstone Inn engagement session, I knew Jenn and Matt were going to be great to work with! Serving these two is really fun. They are self-proclaimed lovers of travel, hiking, great food and wine, music, and watching Survivor! I can definitely identify with all of these.
We had a wonderful time exploring Goodstone Inn and all it has to offer. From the lush greens and the brick facades, Goodstone is quite possibly my favorite Middleburg venues. And the greater Loudon area is known for the some of the best wedding venues in Virginia.
I can’t wait for Jenn and Matt’s Fleetwood Farm Winery next year as well! That’s another one of my favorite spots! And Jenn and Matt instantly make you feel welcome and comfortable so I can only image what amazing hosts they will be on their wedding day. Congratulations Jenn and Matt!

From Jenn:
“I often tell people that I tripped and fell into Matt’s life. When we met in 2017 for the first time, I knew we were meant for each other. On October 11th, 2019 we were hiking in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Matt got down on one knee and proposed at the top of the mountain! I was stunned and beyond thrilled. His best friend that we were visiting was with us, so he proceeded to take pictures as we broke out the champagne and celebrated. Everything about that day was so perfect. I am forever grateful for Matt and can’t wait to marry the love of my life!”
From Matt:
“I knew Jennifer was the perfect match for me when we first had coffee on an early Monday morning in Arlington. She complemented my personality in so many ways, and added areas of openness, kindness and lightheartedness.
As our lives were moving forward together, I knew there was no better time to take that next step. After finding the perfect ring and securing her parents’ blessing we were off to Las Vegas for a hiking trip. On an 8 mile trek through Red Rock Canyon, the ring and champagne were hidden in my pack. During a resting point on a cliff overlooking the Las Vegas strip I got down on one knee and asked her the most important question of my life. Not expecting it in that moment she was shocked, and we were overjoyed. The next hour was spent sitting atop the mountain, calling friends and family, and the celebration has continued ever since.”
