It seems like so long since I first met Jenn in my favorite coffee shop in Gainesville. And it wasn’t hard to like Jenn instantly. She knew the time of year she wanted to tie the knot and she knew she was excited to marry him. They hadn’t yet decided on a venue and so I shared a few that II thought might be a good fit for them. I was excited when they decided on Fleetwood Farm Winery. And their timing for planning their date couldn’t be better…right after the government restrictions were lifted from venues!
I first met Matt and their Goodstone Inn engagement session. It was a wonderful session and it was obvious how much these two enjoyed being together. I love what Matt said about how they fit together so well and how she “complemented my [Matt] personality in so many ways, and added areas of openness, kindness and lightheartedness.” So when the day of their wedding finally arrived, I was so happy to serve them!
I began the day photographing their details while they enjoyed their respective bridal and groom suites with friend and family as they prepared for the day. They had such a lovely palette of soft blues, sage and greenery!
The lovely florals from Sarena Floral Designs complemented the palette perfectly as well as the peaceful, joyous and elegant flow of the day.
Jenn donned her Made with Love Bridal gown and her mother assisted with the final touches.
We took a few minutes to photograph Jenn in the bridal suite as well before heading outside. She also read a sweet note from Matt!
It was then time for Jenn’s bridal portraits. She was stunning and those vines and perfectly manicured lawns only served to compliment her look for the day!
Jenn was lovely as she graced the grounds of Fleetwood Farm Winery!
Meanwhile, Matt was also preparing to meet his bride…
He donned his suite and this incredible boutonnière! He also spent time with his groomsmen enjoying the beautiful day.
Soon it was time for Jenn and Matt’s first look of the day! And what a sweet moment it was!
These two seriously go together like PB&J. It was such a wonderful moment to witness.
We then photographed some couples’ portraits in the firsts look location before moving on to the vines.
The vines also made a lovely backdrop for Jenn and Matt!
We walked around the back of the main house and out of the sun for a bit! It was starting to get warm!
We made out way around the side of the house and toward the groom’s cottage.
And finally to the stone arch! What a special spot at this venue! It was a beautiful spot for portraits of the bride!
And romantic portraits of both the bride and groom!
And then it was time too photograph Jenn with her ladies…
And Matt with his guys…
And the entire wedding party back in the shade!
What a wonderful group this was!!!
After some family portraits, it was time for the ceremony. And oh my was it looking lovely!
It was time for the processional and Matt was certainly happy to see his beautiful brie escorted down the aisle by her father!
It was a beautiful ceremony and Matt and Jenn said “I Do.”
They promised to love and cherish for the rest of their lives under the bright summer sky!
Then they sealed it with a kiss and a happy stroll back up the aisle!
It was then time for cocktail hour and Bluewater Kitchen had some wonderful treats for everyone including an oyster bar.
I also photographed some large family portraits as well as Jenn and her grandma and Jenn and Matt.
Jenn and Matt also enjoyed a peek at their reception space before the happy guests had an opportunity to “love on it.”
And it was beautifully decorated!
Jenn’s vision and palette came together perfectly!
Soon it was time for their grand entrance!
They entered straight into their first dance!
Jenn’s father gave a tear-jerker welcoming speech before dinner…
Then it was time for golden hour photos! We returned too the arch because it is so romantic!
Then we rounded back to the reception area…and the sun was magical!
It looked like a tropical paradise.
Once we were back in the reception space, it was time for some toasts!
I love to hear all of the wonderful things family and friends have to say about the bride and groom and they had an abundance of glowing remarks about Jenn and Matt, including Matt’s mom and sister!
Matt danced with his mother…again, a tear jerker for this boy mom for sure!
Jenn danced with her dad as well before ending my time with an evening backlit photograph. Then the dancing began!
Jenn and Matt, thank you so much for the honor of photographing your Big Day! It was an amazing wedding and you two are pretty incredible!!!
Thank you to these incredible wedding professionals who helped make Jenn and Matt’s wedding day so very special!
