I’m so excited to share this romantic engagement session with Carolynne and Mitchell at Airlie. Not only did I finally get to meet this charming couple in person, but I also had the honor of photographing them with Klondike, their Australian Shepherd fur baby! It was a beautiful evening with equally beautiful weather and I can’t wait for their Big Day next summer! So without further adieu…

Their love and proposal story from Carolynne’s perspective:

“It started with a match on an dating app. After canceling on our first date I decided to give him a chance over Thai food and ice cream. That led to a 3.5 year long relationship full of fun and exciting memories with a fur baby added in. Through our bond of hiking and traveling, he proposed during sunrise on top of Ryan Mountain at Joshua Tree National Park. It was just the two of us and it was perfect.”

Their love and proposal story from Mitchell’s perspective:

“She knows me better than I know myself; she basically can read my mind. From the adventures, the food, and just being next to her, these past several years have flown by and created so many memories. We’ve been on so many hikes and adventures together, so Joshua Tree was the perfect place to pop the question. After a beautiful sunrise hike we sat atop Ryan Mountain enjoying the view. The whole trip we were looking for animals, so I told her there was a goat… And when she turned around I asked her to marry me :).”
