Vivian and Donald’s wedding day was simply unforgettable! They tied the knot (literally they had a three cord rope knot tying in their ceremony) at the historic Rust Manor in Leesburg, Virginia. The manor is a favorite of mine for its gorgeous staircase and parlor as well as the surrounding gardens with a variety of flora and fauna. Vivian and Donald chose to begin the day with a traditional tea ceremony, which included a facetime tea exchange with grandpa! I always love to hear parents give marital their advice to their children as the children serve and share tea with them. And Vivian wore the most incredible red dress and hat I’ve seen at a tea ceremony!

Vivian and Donald shared a first look in their wedding attire as well and exchanged private vows. After this very special event in the gardens (as well as some amazing portraits!), they were then married under a bright sun and beautiful sky. They were surrounded by the sweetest of family and friends and sealed the covenant with a kiss.

The reception was wonderful as well and I loved that Vivian and Donald walked around to every table to personally thank everyone for coming. They shared special dances with their parents and it was obvious how much their guests truly cared about them. I was also excited to steal them away for a beautiful golden hour!

It was such a wonderful day and these two look like they walked straight out a Vogue wedding editorial. And they were the best host and hostess, taking time for their guests and one another. Congratulations Vivian and Donald! And thank you to these incredible wedding professionals for making their day so very special!
