Oooo…I am so excited to share this surprise proposal! Let me share the back story first. Niyati and Jeremy booked their October 2018 Walden Hall wedding with me a few months ago. So when I announced to my couples that I would be available for sessions in the Phoenix area while out there in June, Niyati and Jeremy took me up on it! We planned a couples/bridal shoot out at The Lost Dutchman State Park at the base of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction close to The Paseo. Niyati thought that was all we were doing, but Jeremy had already emailed me with some special plans.
He said he never “formally” proposed to Niyati and wanted this to be an opportunity to do so. Of course I was on board!
Niyati and Jeremy enjoyed a STUNNING shoot at the base of the Superstition Mountains. It was a gorgeous evening and we all had the opportunity of watching the sunset as well. After we finished, they changed into their “street clothes” so I could take a few “tourist” photos of them. That’s when Jeremy descended onto one knee and proposed in the middle of the Lost Dutchman State Park! I couldn’t be more thrilled to capture it…with very little sunlight left! And I cannot wait to share their bridal couples’ shoot as well!
Niyati and Jeremy explored Sedona the next day and then had a rare opportunity to view the stars through high powered telescopes thanks to an astronomer hired by The Phoenician Resort. What a great ending to a special weekend!
