Spring “Midi” Family Sessions | Brandy Hill Farm | Virginia Family Photographer

It has been a joy for me to offer Spring “Midi” Family Sessions this year at Brandy Hill Farm. What is a “midi” session? It’s somewhere between a mini session and a full session. It offers more than the ten and under images of a Christmas mini session but less than a full session. I was planning on offering more sessions, but I decided to keep it smaller due my surgery being scheduled a few days after. By the way, I am healing very well and feel at about 75/80% now!
Maria’s Senior Session
The weather the day of these March sessions was much better than the cold rain we had steadily experienced! I began the sessions with Maria’s senior session. Don’t even get me started because I know I am going to cry a river at graduation this year!
The Starr Family
Then I had the Starr family’s session, which was super exciting for me because I photographed Brittany’s sister’s wedding back in November. It was fun to see Brittany with her beautiful and equally sweet family on such a warm day!
The Klumpp Family
Then it was a real honor to photograph my son’s Kindergarten teacher and her family! You are looking at seriously the best Kinder teacher ever AND her amazing family! It was so precious to me to photograph them together. Boy moms unite!
The Nicholson/Moon Families
Soon after, I photographed the Nicholson and Moon families. I have loved documenting their family growing over the years! Kelly and Zac tied the knot at Brandy Hill Farm back in 2015. Just under a year later, they welcomed their first daughter into the world. Then literally just a couple days ago, they welcomed their second daughter! And to add to the fun, Zac’s sister and her husband Tommy are expecting their first child (also a girl) in a few short months! It was so sweet to photograph everyone along with two of my favorite people in life, their grandparents! How happy does Addie look?!
The Storey Family
And last but certainly not least is my friend Jill and her beautiful family! Not only is Jill’s youngest son my son’s best friend, but Jill is also my personal editor for many weddings and sessions! I edit all the anchor images and Jill works on editing all the rest. I had looked at big editing companies but didn’t care for the final product. They didn’t compare to what it’s like to have a true artist work on your images, duplicating your editing style with a fine toothed comb! Jill is an incredible watercolor artist, quilter and more…including mom of FIVE boys! Life is always fun around their household and I couldn’t be happier that Judah loves this family so because I do too!
