2020 was full of rescheduled weddings, micro weddings and modified weddings. The forced government shut downs led to many changes for many of the Lieb Photographic couples! So for part of my Best Of 2020 Weddings blogging, I wanted too share with you, the courageous couples of 2020!

The first wedding of the year was right before the state forced venues into shut downs and limitations. Jordan and Jackson were able to tie the knot at Shadow Creek Weddings and Events!

While several Spring and Summer weddings were postponed and rescheduled, some couples chose to host an intimate micro wedding (a new term for 2020), while saving the Big Day for 2021. Michelle and Tyler were one such couple. They hosted a small gathering of close family and friends at Morais Vineyards in the early summer and you’ll see them again next year for their big celebration.

Chelsea and Mike also postponed their Big Day at the Great Marsh Estate until 2021 AND hosted a smaller gathering at The Barn at Willowbrook. Their intimate celebration was also a styled affair led by a team of incredible wedding professionals.

Tyler and Tyler’s wedding was postponed from the Spring of 2020 to the late summer of 2020. Then their wedding venue closed it’s doors a few weeks before their wedding date. Fortunately, girl Tyler’s grandparents live on the Potomac River and they were able to host the wedding of their dreams at this lovely location!

Wint and Kaye were forced to downsize their guest list but still hosted their wedding as planned in August at Morais Vineyards. It was such a beautiful celebration!

Margaret and John hosted their lovely September wedding at the Inn at Willow Grove with only a slightly smaller guest list. It was a day filled with gorgeous weather and lots of love!

Evelyn and Stefano had been planning their 10/10/2020 wedding at Morais Vineyards for two years! So when they decided to move their Big Day to 2021, they still wanted to be able to celebrate their anniversary on 10/10/2020. So they hosted an intimate wedding at The Pink Dogwood on their original wedding date!!! It was all smiles!

Courtney and Andrew hosted their wedding on their original date at Morais Vineyards but with a shortened guest list. It was absolutely perfect and they were thrilled to celebrate with their close family and friends.

Brigitte and Scotty had to postpone their wedding date amidst some very difficult personal losses as well as the government shut downs. Their date was moved from early summer to late Fall and it also rained. But the love these two shared filled the entire venue with warmth and radiance!

Sarah and Jacob informed me that their wedding venue closed it’s doors for the year just weeks before their wedding date. So they moved their Oak Barn at Loyalty wedding to their church. It was a cold day but these two tied the knot and then we photographed a bit at the country club near Jacob’s house, Belmont Country Club.

Congratulations to the couples of 2020! It was a joy to serve you and I can’t wait to see some of you this year as well. And for those who postponed from 2020 to 2021 without microweddings, I’m looking forward to serving you as well!
