Styled Bridal Portrait Session

I have worked with Saja Wedding in the past and have always been impressed with their ethereal style gowns made from pure silk. They feel and look as comfortable, light and airy as you’d hope. So when Yoo asked me to showcase a gown from her 2019 collection, I was happy to collaborate! This styled bridal portrait session at the Great Marsh Estate is a perfect example of what a bride can look like and how she can feel in a dress like this during a bridal session as well as on the wedding day. As in my previous styled bridal portrait blog, the most incredible wedding professionals worked to create another beautifully designed session as we partnered with Nexus Diamond to curate another styled bridal portrait session on both film and digital imagery.

Vintage  parchment, stamps and a Mrs. Box or two make the perfect accent to romantic details and rose gold jewelry from Nexus Diamond. And those florals from Flowers by Lisa create the perfect warm palette for a November bridal session.

The bridal suite at Great Marsh makes for a perfect place to prepare for a bridal session. It’s creamy walls and golden accents create the perfect backdrop!

This Gown!

This Saja Wedding gown ON6170 is the perfect dress for spinning and twirling. And that cape is so delicately transparent! Just the right amount of lace accents the bodice and waistline, creating a romantic and vintage atmosphere perfect for a classic portrait session just before sundown.

I just love how a bridal portrait session gives a bride the opportunity to experiment with a different bouquet from the one on her wedding day. And I love this combination of air plants, orchids, succulents and blooms from Flowers by Lisa…the shape and form of this creation is so unique!

And the way it mirrors the green of the estate and the golden glow of sunset is perfection!

Our model enjoyed spinning and twirling the cape as much as I did photographing the motion!

I also love how a bridal session gives you a chance to work with your hair and make up artist a bit more extensively before the Big Day. And Sparkle did an amazing job creating the timeless look with an Old Hollywood flair for Brittani!

I photograph on both film and digital for bridal sessions so even if your wedding package is without film, your bridal session won’t be! And I love how a bridal portrait session ahead of the wedding day allows the bride PRIVACY.

Some brides even use the session as a practice run to see what they love the most about their portraits. Not to mention, the incredible surprise they will be for an excited groom! I don’t share the images until after the wedding day.
