I have known Kierra for quite a while now, but we haven’t gotten together frequently.  So when I ran into her and baby Easton at Target, I was thrilled to see her absolutely embracing motherhood with abandon.  And what a strong and beautiful name…Easton!  Kierra and I both share a love of being a boy mom.  Watching them interact at the Culpeper Mountain Run Lake Park, made it clear how much she loves being his momma.

So months ago, we scheduled this time together in the park for a Mommy and Me session.  The Culpeper Mt. Run Park is certainly under a LOT of construction (which I understand will be worth it, kids). But we still found room for a golden hour session after the sun was practically set.  The half drained lake still made for an interesting terrain and backdrop.  And Easton is SUCH a sweet baby boy.

His first birthday is right around the corner so this couldn’t have come at a better time.  We also photographed some headshots of Kierra.  I loved how even her eyeshadow coordinated with Easton’s yellow/gold shirt!  How precious these two are together!
