I first met with Brigitte and Scotty at one of my favorite spots in Gainesville for coffee. It took practically no time at all before I knew how much I wanted to work with them. One thing that struck me right away was how excited Scotty was for the wedding planning, the engagement session and how thrilled he was to show me the video of when he proposed to Brigitte in a tropical paradise!
It was such a joy to see them both so very excited about each other. They also knew they wanted a Washington DC Engagement session and later showed me the incredible views from where Scotty works at the Department of the Interior National Parks Service.
And wow! I wasn’t disappointed. The view was wonderful with the Washington Monument prominently in the background. But prior to the roof of the Nation Parks Service, we also visited the Lincoln Memorial. Despite the crowds, we managed to have some pretty incredible views as well as some fun.
Brigitte and Scotty clearly stole the show and even received applause from onlookers.
As the sun began to set, we made our way around the memorial. But then this Washington DC engagement session wasn’t over yet…
When the Sun begins to set…
After our time at the memorial, we drove to the National Parks building for rooftop photos. Just as the sun was about to set for the evening, we photographed with the Washington Monument behind us…
Once it set, we still enjoyed some dusk photos illuminated by the lights of the busy city…
Thanks to Scotty we were also granted use of the interior of the building with it’s linear repetition and the theatre!
We ended this incredibly special session at the World War 2 Memorial. And THAT’S how you end an evening Washington DC engagement session! With the glow of the fountains behind you…
