Sarah and Jacob love the winter! They planned on a December winter wedding at the Oak Barn at Loyalty. Then the governor announced new restrictions to events…and things changed. The couple and the venue informed me of the venue’s plans to close for the remainder of 2020. How sad it was for me to receive word from the venue that they were “unable to proceed with the remaining weddings for 2020…due to the Governor’s imposed guidelines which restricts gatherings in excess of 25. It is with great regret that this is the case and we are working with our couples to cancel or reschedule the remaining events.”

So after first contemplated moving their entire wedding day to Tennessee or having a celebration in the Spring of 2021, they made a final decision. They moved their Big Day one day earlier and moved the location to their home church. And Belmont Country Club also permitted us to come over for some group photos after the ceremony as well.

The day began with my second shooter and I at different locations photographing details.

Sarah prepared for the day at an Air B&B along with her family and her lovely bridesmaids. She wore a dress with a detachable overskirt and some beautiful Badgley Mischkas.

Sarah and her ladies were stunning and soon it was time to brave the cold and wind and venture outside!

Sarah danced and twirled in the December air!

She also donned a fur stole to help keep warm.

And her ladies joined her for some portraits as well.

Meanwhile the guys were also preparing for the day.

Jacob prepared at his house alongside his best guys.

He also posed for some groom’s photos.

And spent some time with his guys before leaving for the church.

The ceremony took place in a sanctuary full of family and friends.

Once down the aisle, the ceremony began and it was filled with sining, worship and vows.

Both of their parents also prayed over them.

Once pronounced husband and wife, Sarah and Jacob kissed and made their way back down the aisle.

They also greeted their guests as they left with a traditional receiving line before posing for some group portraits at the church and then heading to Belmont Country Club for some family and bridal party portraits.

The country club was a lovely backdrop for a day too cold to be outside for large group protraits.

There were also a few Christmas trees around!

The bridal party looked festive and full of Christmas cheer!

Jacob and Sarah also posed for some images at the end of their day!

It was a lovely end to the day…

Congratulations Sarah and Jacob! It was a lovely day and I am honored to have documented it for you! Keep scrolling to see more images from their Big Day!
