I can’t begin to express what a joy it has been for me to photograph sweet Alena over the last year. Alena’s mommy and daddy were married right before I gave birth to Judah, at Old House Vineyards. (They were married at Old House…I did not give birth at Old House, although I almost did not make it to the hospital, but that’s another story). Another photographer photographed their wedding and I decided to work on editing while in first stage labor. So being able to photograph their baby girl this past year has been extra special for me.

Little Alena is the happiest little girl and is such a joy to her parents, grandparents and just about everyone I imagine she meets. She melts hearts! And so for her first birthday photos, we photographed all this cuteness in the studio and Kristen made a special cake for a cake smash. Alena was just the cutest, dantiest little darlin’ in her pink tutu and barely made a mess! Be still my heart…what a sweet little girl.
